New mini's on etsy

I listed some new mini's in my Etsy store:

A black and gold mirror with a skull coming out of it:


A stone plate with dragon eggs, glow in the dark candle's,
spell, and a cauldron with a broken egg in it:


And a wonderful miniature that my brother made;
It is Treebeard the Ent from the movie Lord of the Rings.
It is an amazing miniature with so much details.

Hello again

Well, I'm back. Not with miniatures to show yet, but just a quick update;-)

The surgery my son Tom had, went very well,
and he has already started to go to school again.
Thanks everyone for the cards and kind words and especially your prayers!

I had a good fair! Sold well and had a very nice day! Here are some pics:

Absence due to surgery and fair.

Just a quick note to say that I won't be here for a while.

I am very busy getting ready for my first fair!
27th of november at Assen,
finishing all kinds of little things I want to take with me,
wrapping and storing miniatures to go etc.

And on top of that we just heard that my son Tom
needs to go into surgery on wednesday 23th.
He was born with a cleft (11 years ago) and already had two surgery's,
and this time they are going to take some bone from his hip
and put it in his jaw and close the last piece that is still open.

We knew it had to happen any day now, but did they have to pick the 23th?
Hopefully he will be home the 26th though!
But I'm struggeling to get my head around two of these
emotional things going on at the same time,
so decided to at least give myself a break from posting here.

Potting Plants

Had much fun potting these fake plants.
Will take them to the fair on nov 27th.

Mandrake table

Back again;-)
After I sent the give-away's I had a lovely holiday week with my family.
I did take my polymer clay with me, so I could make some miniatures,
knowing there was an oven in the house we went to.
In between the chatting, swimming, reading and doing absolutely
nothing, I made some wonderful items.
(My brother also gave it a go and made a beautiful Ent,
that I will show in a later post)
I made potionbottle's and dragon eggs to take to the fair nov.27th.



And when I came home I finally finished my mandrake table:









I still think it is a bit to neat and empty, but what do you think?
Should a add something or leave it this way?
I really would love to hear!

Rufus

Remember my witch Mandolyn?

Well she had a surprise today. I made her a little friend;-)

May I introduce to you: Rufus, the carnivorous plant.

Isn't he cute?

Mandolyn loves him already, taking him everywere she goes.

He will be on her potting table mostly though,
to keep the fly's away from her ointments and potions.

Halloween Pumpkin cupboard

I made a lot of these cute halloween pumpkins, and I'm not done yet;-)
I will take them with me to the miniature fair nov.27th.
After that they will be in my etsy shop (if the're not sold yet, that is;-)

Romantic

Wow, what a long time ago since my last blogpost.

I had a wonderful holiday, and now the kids are back to school;-)
Time to miniature again!
My sister came by and we made a plate full of miniature cupcakes and some other things,
and this romantic board is the first thing I finished from that.
I listed it on Etsy this morning. Now off to make some more romantic/shabby chic items.

Magic beans and Pendant

Today I had fun making this little pot of magic beans
and a scary but also cute pendant for a necklace.

Cupboards

Well, a lot of carving, sanding, more sanding and
a bottle of woodglue later, this is were I am now:



The cupboards are all going to be different after the're painted,
and they will be sold on the fair that I'm attending november 27th.

But what's that next to the cupboards?

Wood, wood and more wood

I started to make things for the fair in november.
I've been browsing pictures on my computer for a few days to come up with some nice ideas. Then I got the wood, lots of it;-) What am I making?
